Hi! My name is Alanna Kinney and I am an SLPA here at Wildflower Therapy! I have a bachelors in Communication Science and Disorders which I received at UCF. I have experience in working in the pediatric population as well as starting to integrate in adult care. Over the past two and a half years, I have grown in providing care for individuals with childhood apraxia of speech, expressive and receptive language delays, dyslexia and other reading delays/disorders, phonological processing and articulation disorders, fluency, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
I love to incorporate child-led play as it is the best way to facilitate early language skills and makes our sessions fun! I am really big on utilizing evidence based practices and materials to help achieve my patients goals. When I am not in the clinic, my favorite pastimes are making arts and crafts, learning new recipes, reading a good book, or cuddling with my two kitty cats.
I look forward to meeting you and helping make a difference in your child's speech and language world
