A stroboscopy is an exam in which you and your speech pathologist or ENT/Laryngologist work together to take images and video of the movement of your “voice box”. This allows your speech pathologist and you to develop a treatment plan to improve your everyday communication. The exam includes looking at a variety of patterns, frequencies, vocal fold phase closures, symmetry, amplitude and waves to determine the next steps in your care.
